Two people were injured during a brawl in Playa de las Americas. One of them, a 42-year-old man, suffered head injuries and the other, a 32-year-old woman, cuts and bruises of a less serious nature. The incident happened in Calle Madrid just after midnight. The emergency services were called in following a report that a fight was taking place and several people had been injured. Police attended with medics. The two people wounded were taken to hospital in the south.
