Anaga is a top priority for Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz has promised to keep on improving the beautiful area of Anaga. The city council says an “intense programme” of improvements has been underway “for years”, adding: “A good part of the demands of the platform “Together for San Andrés” is underway.” Local councillor, Carmen Delia Alberto said the project approved by the Municipal Government Board for the remodelling of the San Andrés sports centre and the tender for the works of the Cemetery Walk in Igueste were both in progress. Other actions include unlocking the access to the football field, channelling of the El Cercado ravine and reconditioning the surface of the sports field of Cueva Bermeja Alberto . “The doors of the city council will always be open so that residents and their representatives can present their concerns and move forward, from joint work and cooperation, in improving the quality of life of all of them,” she said. Just recently, a meeting was held with residents of San Andrés to approve various proposals related to trafficking and provision of parking spaces.
